  • Bookie – A bookie is someone who accepts wagers or bets on sporting events.
  • Handicapping – When someone is handicapping games they are predicting the outcome of that given event with an option of goals given to a team, these goals are assumed to be at the team’s score sheet before the match begins when given to a team. So if man utd is playing against Chelsea and I give man utd a handicap of one goal and still place a bet that man utd will win what it means is that man utd have a goal ahead of Chelsea in their score sheet, even before the match begins, so if the match ends in man utd 0-0  Chelsea, it means man utd have won because of the goal we gave to them, if it ends in 1-2 it ends in a draw if it ends in man utd 1-3 Chelsea it means Chelsea won. So when we handicap a team we can still bet on three options for the team we are playing handicap on (that is the option of either winning, drawing, or losing a match)
  • Option no.1: Betting on the team we handicapped to win a match.
The odds for this kind of bet is smaller than the odd for that team to win because we are giving them a one-goal advantage ahead of their opponents.
Option no.2:- Betting on the team we handicapped to draw a match.
the odds for this kind of bet is higher than the odd for that team to win because it is riskier and we are predicting that after giving them let’s say a goal, the match will still end in a draw, something like 0-1 or 1-2 if we play a handicap on the home team or 1-0, 2-1 for an away team. if one goal handicap was placed on either of them.
Option no.3:- Betting on the team we handicapped to loss a match.
The odds for this kind of bet is higher because after giving them a one-goal advantage ahead of their opponents we are still saying that, their opponent will still win the game. So if we play a handicap of one goal for home teams and placing a bet for the away team to win, we are saying that the game will end in something like this 0-2, 1-3, 2-4 e.t.c this kind of stake is more effective when a favorite team is playing underdogs. Because they tend to score more goals here against the underdogs. E.g man city vs fulham

    • Double chance:- it has 3 options 1x(home team win or draw), 12 (either team win but no draw), or 2x (away team win or draw)

1x:- It means that you are giving the home team the option of either a win or draw in a match but not a loss for us to win our bet. This option is similar to playing a one-goal handicap on a home team, and staking for the home team to win, in most cases, the odds for playing a one-goal handicap is higher than that for the double chance.

12:- This means that either of the team can win but will not draw the match for us to win our bet.

2x:- It means that you are giving the away team the option of either a win or draw in a match but not a loss for our bet to be won. This option is similar to playing a one-goal handicap on an away team, and staking for the away team to win, in most cases, the odds for playing a one-goal handicap is higher than that for double chances.

    • UNDER 2.5 GOALS = this means that the goal in a match, must not exceed 2 goals, for our bet to be won. if it exceeds 2 goals, then we have lost our bet.
    • OVER 2.5 GOALS = this means that the goal in a match must exceed 2 goals, for our bet to be won. if it doesn’t exceed 2 goals, then we have lost our bet.
    • UNDER 0.5 GOALS =this means that the goal in a match, must not exceed zero goal, for our bet to be won. if it exceeds zero goal, then we have lost our bet. in this kind of bet, the scoreline must be 0:0
    • OVER 0.5 GOALS = this means that the goal in a match, must exceed zero goal, for our bet to be won, that is the total goal in that match must at least be one(1). if it doesn’t exceed zero goal, then we have lost our bet.
    • CLEAN SHEET = when we bet on a clean sheet for a team, we are simply saying that the team we are betting on would not conceive any goal till the end of the match, if the team should conceive any goal then we have lost our bet, definitely, the scoreline should be 0:0 1:0 2:0 e.t.c when we bet on a home team to play clean sheet, and 0:0, 0:1, 0:2, e.t.c. when we bet on an away team.
    • UNDER 7.5 CORNERS = this simply means that the total number of corner kicks in a match should not exceed 7 corners.
    • OVER 7.5 CORNERS = this simply means that the total number of corner kicks in a match should be more than 7, or should not be less than 8 corner kicks.
    • TO WIN BOTH HALVES = when we bet on a team to win both halves, we are simply saying that the team we are betting on, will win both the first and the second half, that is this team must score a goal in the first half and must lead their opponent in the first half and this team must also score a goal in the 2nd half and also lead their opponent in the 2nd half. in this scenario, each half is considered to be independent or to be on its own and the team we are betting on must always score a goal and lead their opponents at each half, scoreline at first half cannot be brought to 2nd half even if 10 goals are scored at first half when the second half begins the scoreline is considered to be 0:0
    • TO WIN EITHER HALF = when we bet on a team to win either half, we are simply saying that the team we are betting on should win either the first or second half, it doesn’t matter if they either lost at first half or drew at the first half, or if they either lost at second half or drew at the second half. what is required is for the team we bet on to lead their opponent in either first or second half, assuming the team we bet on was leading with one goal at first half then at second half their opponent defeated them by scoring two goals, we will still win our bet because we won at the first half.
    • TO WIN FIRST HALF = it simply means that any team we are betting on must win the first half for our bet to be won, in this case, we are only playing 45 minutes, which is the first half. 2nd half doesn’t concern us. Any draw or defeat in the first half in this instance will lead to our loss.
    • TO WIN 2ND HALF = it simply means that any team we are betting on must win the 2nd half for our bet to be won, in this case, we are only playing 45 minutes, which is the 2nd half. the scoreline at the first half doesn’t concern us. Any draw or defeat in 2nd half in this instance will lead to our loss.
    • TO DRAW BOTH HALVES(x/x) = when we bet on a team to draw both halves, we are simply saying that the scoreline at the first half must be a draw and also that for 2nd half must also be a draw. if a team wins at any of the halves, then we have lost our bet.
